The San Francisco Family Child Care Professional Development Project

The San Francisco Family Child Care Professional Development Project supports the recruitment and retention of quality licensed family child care providers by developing the capacity of family child care providers to manage the complex legal and business risks associated with running a family child care business. Coordinated by the Child Care Law Center, the project involves close collaboration with the Child Care Facilities Fund of the Low Income Investment Fund, as well as Wu Yee Children's Services, Children's Council of San Francisco, and City College of San Francisco. Workshops taught by the Child Care Law Center on legal issues in child care and workshops taught by the Child Care Facilities Fund on business issues in child care are held in conjunction with City College of San Francisco courses.
