Take Action Today to Defend All Families
Children deserve to be safe and happy. It is our job, as adults, to protect them.
The security a child feels with their parent or primary caregiver is essential for their healthy development – it is as important as breathing.
The Child Care Law Center calls upon our government to stop inflicting trauma on children and threatening their well-being by forcibly separating children from their parents, or jailing families in detention centers not suitable for children.

The House is expected to vote on two anti-immigrant bills on Thursday, June 21st: one proposed by Rep. Goodlatte and another proposed by Speaker Ryan. Neither bill addresses the administration’s policy of separating families, and neither bill fixes the administration’s decision to end DACA.
Please call your local or DC congressional office to defeat the Ryan bill and ensure no Democrat votes for these bills.
